NV Primary Election Reminder 2026

Nevada State Capitol building
Your vote matters! Election Day in Nevada is coming up on Tuesday, June 9, and ballots have been mailed to every voter in the state.

Don’t forget to vote! Before heading to the polls, take a moment to confirm your polling place and review what you’ll need to bring.

Key Information:

  • Voter Registration: Nevada offers same-day voter registration, allowing eligible voters to register in person at a polling location on Election Day. Confirm your registration status through Nevada’s registered voter search.
  • What’s on My Ballot: Ballot content varies by district and location. Review your local races and election information before heading to the polls through Nevada’s 2026 election information page.
  • Vote-by-Mail: Active registered voters automatically receive a mail ballot and may vote-by-mail instead of going to the polls on Election Day. Completed ballots can be returned by mail, dropped off at an official ballot drop box, or returned at a polling place or vote center. All mail ballots must be returned by Election Day, June 9.
  • Voter ID: Nevada generally does not require voters to show identification when voting in person unless you’re a first-time voter who didn’t provide ID when registering. For same-day registration, you must have a valid Nevada driver’s license or Nevada ID card and vote in-person at a polling location.
  • Voting on Election Day: Polls are open on Tuesday, June 9, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Polling locations vary by county, so find your polling location before heading out the door.

Mark Your Calendar: Nevada’s General Election will be held on Tuesday, November 3. Early voting will be open from Saturday, October 17 through Friday, October 30.
