At HCA HealthONE, we are proud of the positive impact our colleagues have on our patients, our communities and each other. This newsletter celebrates the many ways our organization improves more lives in more ways.

HCA HealthONE serves as a critical specialty care hub for rural patients across Colorado, connecting communities with advanced care while helping patients remain close to home whenever possible.

Our state’s rural communities often face barriers to accessing timely, high-quality care due to workforce shortages and geographic challenges.
Through rural outreach, telemedicine and partnerships with local hospitals, HCA HealthONE extends specialty and complex care beyond Metro Denver to support patients across Colorado and the surrounding region.

Bringing Specialty Care to Rural Communities

HCA HealthONE physicians regularly travel to rural communities across Colorado, bringing specialty care closer to patients facing barriers to access. The rural outreach program serves 32 communities statewide and delivers 90 specialist clinics each month across 21 specialties, including Cardiology, Neurology, Oncology, Maternal-Fetal Medicine and Orthopedics.

The health system’s telemedicine program connects rural patients and their community-based care teams with specialists across 15 service lines, and more than 80% of patients seen through telehealth were able to remain in their home communities.

Partnerships with 51 rural sites of care provide access to physician consultations, clinical training, emergency preparedness support, physician recruitment services, and many more service categories.

Together, these efforts help keep care local whenever possible while ensuring patients can access complex services in Metro Denver when needed.
