Reminder: Florida Primary Election 2026

Your vote matters! Florida’s Primary Election is coming up on Tuesday, August 18.

Before casting your ballot, take a moment to confirm your voting information and review what you’ll need to bring to the polls.

Key Information:

  • Voter Registration: The voter registration deadline for this election was July 20. Confirm your registration and party status through Florida’s voter information lookup tool.
  • What’s on My Ballot: Ballot content varies by district and location. To review your sample ballot and local races before Election Day, use Florida’s voter information lookup tool.
  • Voter ID: Florida requires voters to present a valid photo and signature ID when voting in person. Review acceptable forms of identification before heading to the polls.
  • Voting On Election Day: On Election Day, August 18, polls will be open from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. Be sure to verify your assigned polling place and allow extra time if needed. If you are in line by 7 p.m., you will be allowed to vote. Find your precinct or polling location through the Voter Precinct Lookup.

Don’t forget to mark your calendar: Florida’s General Election will be held on Tuesday, November 3. The voter registration deadline by mail or online is Monday, October 5 and early voting runs from Saturday, October 24 through Saturday, October 31.
