Your vote matters! The South Carolina Primary Election Day is coming up on Tuesday, June 9, and voter turnout is already breaking records across the state.

Don’t forget to vote! Before heading to the polls, take a moment to confirm your polling place and review what you’ll need to bring.

  • Voter Registration: Registered South Carolina voters can participate in the June 9 Primary Election. Before heading to the polls, confirm your registration status, polling place and sample ballot through MyscVOTES, South Carolina’s voter information portal.
  • What’s on My Ballot: Ballot content varies by district and location. Review your local races and election information before heading to the polls through MyscVOTES.
  • Voter ID: South Carolina requires voters to bring a valid photo ID, such as a driver’s license or passport, when voting in person. Before heading to the polls, review the state’s voter ID requirements to make sure you have what you need.
  • Voting on Election Day: Polls are open on Tuesday, June 9, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Mark Your Calendar: South Carolina’s General Election will be held on Tuesday, November 3, and the deadline to register in-person is Friday, October 2 by 5 p.m., or online by Sunday, October 4.
