GA Primary Runoff Election 2026

Georgia State Capitol in Atlanta

Georgia’s Primary Runoff Election Day is tomorrow, Tuesday, June 16. For races where no candidate received more than 50% of the vote in the May 19 Primary, the top two candidates advance to a runoff election.

Your vote matters! If you’re planning to vote, now is the time to make a plan and confirm your voting information.

Key Information:

  • Check Your Voting Information: Confirm your voter registration status, polling place information, and sample ballot through Georgia’s My Voter Page.
  • What’s on My Ballot: Depending on where you live, runoff ballots may include races for U.S. Senate, governor, lieutenant governor, secretary of state, congressional and state legislative districts, and more. Ballots vary, so review your sample ballot and learn more about the races and issues that will appear on your ballot before heading to the polls.
  • Voter ID: Georgia law requires voters to present an approved photo ID. Review acceptable forms of identification for in-person voting.
  • Voting on Election Day: Polls will be open tomorrow, Tuesday, June 16, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Verify your assigned polling place before heading out to vote. If you are in line by 7 p.m., you will be allowed to vote.
